Should have 1.4.0.13 ready next week - 2002-09-16 01:26 - brad
Hopefully early in the week of 9/22. No major changes, mostly just tweaks getting ready for the official launch (which has been delayed again until 10/15).

Version 1.4.0.12 is ready - 2002-08-20 21:46 - brad
As is often the case, you must uninstall all previous versions before installing the new version.

With version 1.4.0.12, Robot Battle 1.4 is feature complete. That means that from now until the commercial version ships I am not planning to add any new features. Only fix bugs. Now more than ever I really need your help flushing out any remaining problems. Major changes in this version include:

    - Really large arenas (up to 32,000x32,000)
    - Arena overview window
    - Arena background images (tiled, centered, or stretched)
    - Control of cookie & mine creation rate
    - Several UI tweaks.

Next version is almost ready - 2002-08-15 13:05 - brad
Just have a few help file problems to clear up, and I'll be ready to release 1.4.0.12. This version includes huge arenas (up to 32000 x 32000), background textures, and a very convenient overview window.

This version should wrap-up the new features in version 1.4. Yipee! From now until shipping I am only planning to fix bugs.

Should have 1.4.0.11 out soon - 2002-07-28 20:22 - brad
It should be ready to go either tonight or tomorrow afternoon. Still tracking down one more potential bug.

Still doing help files - 2002-07-17 17:24 - brad
I am making good progress though. I hope to have the help files done within the next week. At that point I'll fix the bugs I can and do another release. I'll need lots of help improving the help files.

No word from GarageGame on the launch date. I think they probably got delayed again.

1.4.0.11 will have sound effects - 2002-06-18 20:56 - brad
I finished adding sound effects and they turned out nicely. I think it adds a lot of depth to the game. The sounds are much better than those in 1.3, but still fairly simple.

I haven't done much sound work previously, but I had fun. Sound effects came from GruvKitty Productions and my wife's Alesis QS8.
