RobotBattle Dev: Builds

Use the download links below. To upgrade from versions 1.4.01 through 1.4.04, simply download and install the latest version and it will automatically update. If you installed test build 1.5.01 you must first uninstall it. There is no separate patch file since the full download is small. If your system is missing any of the requirements listed below, the installation process will inform you.

Starting with the 1.4 series releases, Robot Battle will follow a new version number scheme: series.major.minor

series	Will likely be 1 until completely revamped
major	Increases by 1 with large feature changes. Odd numbers represent test releases while even numbers represent stable releases.
minor	Increases by 1 with small feature changes and bug fixes

For example, the next major release of the 1 series versions of Robot Battle is 1.4. This version has many large changes from previous versions of the game. The first stable release of 1.4 will be called 1.4.01. If bugs are found after the release or minor features are added, the last number will be increased. In the example, the first bug fix release would be version 1.4.02 and so on.

After 1.4.01 ships, work will start on the next major upgrade. While the next version is in development, its version number will start at 1.5.01 (notice the major version number is odd). When it is complete, its version number will be 1.6.01.
